• Examination: Dr. Elloway will use digital X-rays to determine your tooth’s location and condition. Advanced imaging lets us choose the safest, most effective way to extract your tooth.
• Making you comfortable: We’ll numb your gums with local anesthesia for a comfortable experience. However, if you are anxious about the procedure, we’ll discuss sedation dentistry. We’ll only proceed with treatment when you are entirely at ease.
• Extraction: If the tooth is easily accessible in the mouth, a simple extraction is all that is needed. Dr. Elloway gently loosens your tooth from its socket and pulls it out in one piece. If the tooth is partially or wholly impacted, it must be removed surgically. This involves incising your gums and sectioning the tooth for easier removal.

Your comfort is our top priority during and after tooth extraction. Once the procedure is complete, we’ll provide simple aftercare instructions to support a smooth recovery.
