Our advanced cleaning program is essential for prevention of cavities and gum-related issues. We take great care in cleaning your teeth with the most advanced methods and tools available.

• Cleaning your teeth is not only good for your smile, it's also very affordable! Extra care is taken to give you a clean that can only be obtained by a qualified professional. Our process consists of several steps which are detailed below:
  • We begin by hand scaling to remove tartar build-up that brushing doesn't remove. We then use an ultrasonic scaling tool that removes any remaining tartar. A high pressure jet with a warm water and pumice solution is used to give your teeth and gums a good cleaning, and then we irrigate your gums with an antibacterial mouthwash that leaves your mouth feeling fresh. Your tongue is then cleaned and your teeth are brushed and flossed.
• It's like getting a facial... for your teeth!

The steps in our cleaning process help to prevent problems from occuring and in most cases actually improve the health of our patients' gums. Over time, pockets can form between your gums and your teeth which creates the perfect environment for bacteria to grow and thrive. We measure these pockets once a year during your regular cleaning appointment to determine if they have improved over time. If they have not improved, we will discuss the preventive care options with you and create a program specifically designed for you.
